Terms of Service

DEDAO calculates a traditional Chinese chart from the birth details you provide and uses AI to generate a personalized written interpretation. A completed reading is a digital service delivered to your account.

A reading is interpretive rather than a statement of fact or a promise of what will happen. DEDAO does not provide medical, legal, financial, investment, or other professional services. You decide how to use the reading in light of your own circumstances.

Keep your account secure and provide accurate information. If you enter another person's birth details, you confirm that you have permission to do so. You must be legally able to make a purchase in your place of residence.

One credit produces one complete reading. Purchases are one-time payments with no subscription or automatic renewal. Credits belong to the account that purchased them, cannot be transferred, and are not cash or stored value.

Website purchases are processed by PayPal. Digital purchases made in the iPhone app are processed by Apple In-App Purchase; the iPhone app does not offer PayPal or another external payment method.

If a technical failure prevents a reading from being generated, the credit is returned to your account automatically. Prices and the number of credits included are shown by the relevant store before payment.

For website purchases, paid credits that have not been used may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. If part of a pack has been used, only the unused credits remain eligible during that period.

Once generation has started or a reading has been successfully delivered, the consumed credit is final. Disagreement with the reading, preference for a different style, or incorrect birth details supplied by the user are not service failures.

A failed generation returns the credit automatically. If a reading is clearly truncated or broken, contact us within 7 days and we will regenerate it or restore the credit. Any mandatory refund rights under applicable law still apply.

For a website-purchase refund, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account and include the approximate purchase date. Apple In-App Purchases are billed and refunded by Apple; request a refund through Apple's purchase history or Report a Problem service.

You may keep and share your reading for personal use. You may not resell the service or its readings, scrape or copy the service at scale, reverse engineer its software or protected methods, bypass technical restrictions, or use DEDAO unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights.

We may improve, change, or temporarily interrupt the service, and may suspend accounts that abuse it or break these terms. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date.

To the extent permitted by law, DEDAO is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made from a reading. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid DEDAO in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit rights or liabilities that the law does not allow us to exclude.
